Everything you need to know about protecting your Framer pages with PageLock

Getting Started

PageLock allows you to add password protection to any page in your Framer website. Follow these steps to protect your first page.

1

Create an Account

Sign up for a free account to get started. The free plan includes 1 Page Lock and 1 User forever.

2

Create a Lock

Go to your dashboard and click "New Page Lock". Give your lock a descriptive name (e.g., "Client Portal" or "Members Area").

3

Install the Framer Plugin

Visit the Framer Marketplace and install the PageLock plugin. This is a one-time installation that works across all your Framer projects.

4

Open the Plugin in Framer

In your Framer project, press K to open the command palette, search for "Plugins", and select "PageLock".

5

Connect Your Lock

Copy your Lock ID from the dashboard and paste it into the plugin. Select your authentication type and login template, then click "Protect Page".

6

Publish Your Site

Publish your Framer site to make the protection live. Your page is now protected and visitors will need to authenticate to access it.

Pro Tip: You can use the same Lock ID to protect multiple pages with the same credentials, or create separate locks for different access levels.
